Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop (Happy Valley)

Food was great! Its premium and authentic, i like that their food is not salty or overly seasoned like most of Chinese food. The quality and execution of dumplings is on another level. Noodles texture its like aldente which i like. staffs are very attentive and friendly from the moment we enter the door.

Sure it isn't cheap but if you want a quality bowl of Hong Kong wonton noodle or porridge, you will not be disappointed here. Consistent every time I drop in here. 5 stars and a must try if you pass by one

Love the congee and many traditional Cantonese dishes at this restaurant. Good place to go when one would like to try out authentic noodles and congee. Service was good too. Suggest to book a table especially if going there during peak hours.

The last time I visited this place must be more than 8 years ago. Today I return and try again. The food is still as good as before. Many people say it is too Expensive for a tiny bowl of wonton noodle soup! But their Wanton noodles soup 細蓉, congee 艇仔粥 and Stir fried thick noodle with beef 乾炒牛河 are still the best as before. Sadly there are not many places left for the traditional taste of wanton noodle and congee anymore. These food represent the old Hongkong and we should support them.

Excellent wonton noodle quality. I ordered the beef brisket with noodle. The beef is very tender and nice, the noodle was very "bouncy" dan nga, good quality. Quite pricey but I'm satisfied with the quality. Food quality meets the price. The service is also good and waiters very friendly. The wonton noodle my friend order was also really good. The wontons had excellent shrimp taste and the seasoning was perfect. There's also an option of smaller bowl for people who eat less. The choisum vegetable was also cooked perfectly. The dish itself may not be as complicated as it looks but every detail was good hence the 5 stars.

Recommended to have noodle soup - we tried the beef noodle which is a good choice as well as smooth fish congee. Fish slice is damn thin and nice. Reconmended. Price is just right too.

The noodle shop was not large. Its location was quite convenient since the bus stop was just in front of the eatery. The interior decoration was very historical Chinese style. Staff were polite and attentive, always adding hot tea into your cup. The quality of the food was excellent. The price was relatively high. Customers were mostly neighborhoods who could spend more on dining.
